I just want Kalyn to be himself, and I said that to him when I first came in,
I know how hard working our town is. We talk about the miners and how much the Knights mean to the guys who spend 12 hours working down in the pit. I asked the boys, ‘Who has actually been down there?’ Nobody had. And none of the staff. So I organised to do it. “We had a few hours down in the pit, and we quickly realised it’s hard work.”
The community is so good up here, we know how important rugby league is to the Hunter Region,
It’s a stable roster just waiting to be coached,
Kalyn is an elite player and an elite person and re-signing him is massive for us,
We’re not sure, he’ll have to get some scans, but we don’t think it’s anything too serious,
